Hizbullah and tatooes

Osama sent me this:  "In response to your post "Evidence of Hizbullah's "vast influence in Latin America", can we say that tattoos are "haram" in Islam.  and that hizballah has very strict policy on this. Being written in Farsi does not make tattoos "halal". It is very rare to see someone who is a real hizballah member bragging about his tattoo. It beats their ideology.  Can you please tell these fabricators to stop. It is becoming lame."
