Demonstrating outside the US and French embassy in Damascus
No matter whether it was orchestrated by the Syrian government or not (although it is fair to say that the Syrian government provided protection for both embassies because it never fails to want to appease the US and French governments) but I wondered why the events did not get covered in the US newspapers. I am not talking about the one from today (which probably will get covered tomorrow) but about the one from yesterday. I knew that the New York Times would ignore the event today: a handful of hired goons around the US ambassador's car in Hama (based on youTube video) were more worthy of coverage. Which makes my point: that US media, based on purely Zionist standards, are far more likely to cover an event that is favorable to US image than a bigger event that would seem to run counter to US Zionist image and interests. The New York Times follows those standards religiously.
