Aljazeera covers Syria

The joke of Aljazeera coverage continues.  It compares with the lousiest Ba`thist or Mossad propaganda.  Yes, it is that dumb.   It always prepares us for a "million-man" march in this city and that, and when that does not happen, it says that "thousands" no matter what you see in the screen.  Clearly, the demonstration in Hama was huge:  do you blame Hama for wanting to settle a score with the regime?  But other demonstrations that they aired (always from Youtube, we should call it Youtube news now), were rather small.  In one that they kept (it was also shown at length on Al-Arabiyya) showing from Dir`ah, I counted 20 or so people.   And AlArabiyya (the news station of King Fahd's brother-in-law) still talks to supporters of Asad.  Aljazeera does not bother anymore.  In one small segment I saw today, they spoke to three people and all were from the Muslim Brotherhood of Syria (or linked to it).  They brought a fanatic from Muslim Brotherhood in London, and the crude speaker discredited and dismissed all the opposition groups inside Syria.  Only the exile Muslim Brotherhood has the qualifications in the eyes of this fanatic and of Alajzeera.  In fairness to the opposition figures (mostly secular) who met in Samiramis, they did not in any way compromise or make concession with the regime although the event lent a bit of legitimacy to the regime--a legitimacy that it does not deserve.  I feel that As-Safir and Al-Akhbar and New TV provide the most comprehensive coverage of Syria now, despite criticisms here and there.  Like the reports by New TV from inside Syria (at the invitation of the lousy regime) tend to be too propagandistic for the regime.
