Syrian war criminals for democracy

So a guy claiming that he is a Syrian officer (I am now skeptical about everything I see on Syria in Syrian regime media or in Saudi or Qatari media--all are liars and fabricators) spoke to a Saudi news site (Al-Arabiyyah, the news station of King Fahd's brother-in-law).  He said that he ordered the shooting at civilians in Dir`ah, but that he now supports democracy.
