Libyan Transitional Council

Did you see the statements by the spokesperson of the Libyan Transitional Council, Mahmud Shammam (he is a friend of mine on Facebook, by the way and has a good sense of humor) in Beirut? He is making it clear that the Council is willing to live with a "settlement" according to which the Libyan dictator is allowed to stay in Libya without any prosecution or punishment.  Anything to get to power, I guess.
