Is Aljazeera English trying to be cute?

So Aljazeera English (live stream channel) with great fanfare (the word fanfare is from the Arabic, farfarah, and came to Western usage during interaction with Muslims) announced that it was hosting an Israeli occupation soldier and even asked readers on Twitter to send questions to that terrorist occupation soldier who mist likely have innocent blood on his hands.  What was Aljazeera English thinking?  That foreign and savage occupation is a cute affair?  Is this done to secure some other international sports competition to Qatar?
