Egyptian scientist, Mustafa As-Sayyid

Egyptian scientist, Mustafa As-Sayyid is about to receive an honorary doctorate from AUB.  He is facing a storm of protests on campus for having accepted an honorary doctorate from Hebrew University.  Yesterday, a student interrupted his lecture to ask him about the matter and he said that he would never repeat that experience.  I am telling you: there is a new Middle East and Thomas Friedman and his ilk won't like it one bit.
