BBC hosted a debate on Syria the other day. They had one guy speaking for the Syrian regime and two other Syrians for the opposition. The guy for the regime spoke lousy English with a Tartusian accent, while the pother two spoke British accented English. It reminded me of the classical trick by Western media who love to invite articulate Israelis to face Arabs who are most inarticulate. Where is Rim Haddad, the eloquent fabricator and propagandist of the Syrian regime when the regime needs her?
