These pictures would never make it to the US press (they want that as long as certain groups are following the US line--like the Libyan Transitional Council or March 14 in Lebanon or Syrian Muslim Brothers--they have to be described as "peaceful") because they clash with the narrative of US propaganda (or Saudi and Qatari). These are Syrian members of the Muslim Brothers inside Syria and the picture was carried first by a Turkish news agency and then by AFP (it was published on the front page of As-Safir in Beirut). No, those pictures should NOT allow the lousy Syrian dictatorship to justify its criminal repression.
