(Oil soaked) Arab media forum

"Arab media people were encouraged to intensify their efforts to show the important role of Arab women in development plans and their contributions to all sectors. Concluding their gathering, the participants thanked His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister-designate Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah for their sponsorship of the forum.  They have also welcomed the choice of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor, Saudi Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal as the "Media Man of the Year" due to his great contribution to the Arab media through his TV channels as well as honoring Prince Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, governor of Riyadh, and granting him the Arab Media Creativity Award of 2011.   The forum also awarded Bahraini Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa the "Cultural Adaptation to Media" for 2011 and Kuwaiti veteran journalist and chief editor of Al-Seyassah newspaper was given the media stint award."
