The most famous (and beloved) Arab prisoner

Here it goes.  The New York Times launched the first of what will prove to be a salvo of Western news coverage of the case of one Egyptian blogger (who I have never heard of before).  Of course, I am in support of the right of anybody criticizing the military, especially the US-cuddled corrupt and cruel Egyptian military.  But it seems there is more to the case and notice that Ethan Bronner (the chief protector of Israeli propaganda at the NYT) was brought to this story.  Why?  Here it goes:  "Mr. Nabil has the unusual political position in Egypt of being a pacifist as well as a champion of Israel, often praising its democracy, educational standards and innovations.   Mona Seif, a rights advocate, said Mr. Nabil may have been singled out as an easy target, partly because of previous run-ins with the military and partly because of his pro-Israel views."  Personally, I am opposed to granting freedom of speech for Zionists in Arab countries.  I will explain in the following post above.
