How New York Times covers Syria

We remember that New York Times covered Iranian protests from Toronto.  Lately, the New York Times has been covering Syria based on accounts of a guy in Maryland, and another at George Washington University.  Today, they expanded their coverage.  They brought in a Zionist from the pro-Israeli think tank (and founded as the research arm of AIPAC), The Washington Institute for Near East Propaganda (WINEP).  As I was reading, I thought that the guy was a Sunni Muslim because he was going on about Sunni sentiments.
