Goldstone and the New York Times

The paper has to justify why it did not put the Goldstone retraction on page 1.  Well, they did today put the murder of struggler Arrigoni on page one.  But was thinking about the Goldstone retraction: I mean, it should be dismissed out of hand although I never took him or his report seriously because he was picked because he was Zionist and he insisted on a Zionist criminal premise of equating the victims and the killers.  Plus: imagine if I come one day and say: you know all the stuff that I wrote against Saudi Arabia?  Just ignore it.  I did not mean it.  I mean, who would have taken anything I say seriously, and who would have taken my statement as credible?
