Slogans in Bahrain

B.B. in Bahrain sent me this (I cite with his permission):  "Asa’d,
The major slogans of Bahrain’s protest movements are:
We’re all Brothers- Sunnis and Shias, This Country is not for Sale- (اخوان سنة و شيعة... هذا الوطن ما نبيعه )
Not Sunni, Not Shia, Only Bahraini (لا سني و لا شيعي بس بحريني)
Not Sunni, Not Shia, ِِِa Bahraini Unity! ((لا سنية لا شيعية وحدة وحدة بحرينية
Not Sunni, not Shia, Our Demand are Legitimate (لا سنية لا شيعية مطالبنا شرعية)
And so on.   Slogans sound better in Arabic as they all rhyme but the message is clear: There is no room for sectarianism. And I attached a few pictures of people carrying these posters and banners [credit: Feb. 14 facebook page]HOWEVER  all government rhetoric is about fear of sectarian divide! Judging by people talking on Bahrain tv and radio, comments on facebook and hearing about clashes and other incidents in schools, etc. this divide and conquer tactic seems to be effectively at work.  All I can say, God help us!"
