Yahya sent me this from Bahrain: "People in Bahrain are on fire! Seriously, we were caught in the protest's traffic for more than an hour and a half, many are enthusiastic. I'll be sending you some images I caught while passing by the protests as soon as I get how this new phone works. Many were chanting "Down down Khalifu" in English, others were making fun of the issue relieved about how the Prime Minister was "given" the Financial Harbor of Bahrain for one dinar "One Dinar, the harbor is going for one dinar, any more bids?" On the other hand, I can tell you that things are getting worse for the regime, paranoia maybe. In the airport there were many new procedures, for instance, they now demand the passengers to remain (detained to be honest) in a specified hall as their passports are checked for a long period. Some of the student we traveled with were sent back to Kuwait at the first flight while others were forced to stay in Bahrain for what they called "further verification". This apply on all passenger, whether they were from the Gulf region or other Arabic countries."
