There is no one leader to the Egyptian Uprising--and that is good. There is no one hero: there are many. The murder of Khalid Sa`id (an episode that was ignored by much of the Western and official Saudi owned Arab media) by Mubarak goons was the first major spark. Asma' Mahfuz is now hailed by many as one of the pioneers of the Egyptian uprising through her tireless work and organizing on Facebook. She is an impressive speaker as well, and some are even nominating her to be president, as Al-Quds Al-`Arabi has reported. (thanks Farah)
