Israel's dirty hands...in Cairo

A foreign reporter sent me this from Cairo: "I'm in Cairo. Don't quote me on this but my taxi driver today told me he took an Israeli journalist "from Hebron" into Tahrir sq yesterday "to do a story". He apparently spoke to people (he has a French passport) and looked around, wrote in a notepad.  He admitted to the driver that he was "from Hebron" when the driver told him he's originally Palestinian. Strange though because if he didn't want anyone to know he was Israeli (stupid move at times like this) then why would he admit to the driver (that too, a Palestinian one)?  If you choose to use this, please no mention of my name etc. Its unprofessional of me as a journalist to make such a claim without confirming it first."
