Bias, lies, fabrications, distortions and sneaky corrections in the New York Times: defending Israel's friends to the end

I read my paper copy of the New York Times.  Of course, the main story on the front page was from Iran (and largely based on reporting from how many "likes" on Facebook and on blogs.  Fine. But this sentence attracted my attention:  "But unlike in Egypt, the Iranian authorities have shown that they will not hesitate to crush demonstrations with deadly force."  These were the words.  I was outraged given that more than 300 Egyptians were killed and more than 2000 Egyptian were injured.  So I went to the on-line version of the article, to find this: "The Iranian authorities have shown that they will not hesitate to crush demonstrations with deadly force. Other governments across the Middle East and the Persian Gulf also moved aggressively to stamp out protests on Monday.  In Egypt, the army stuck to its promise not to attack demonstrators, but the death toll during the protests leading to Mr. Mubarak’s downfall reached about 300 people, according to the United Nations and human rights organizations. Most fatalities appeared to have occurred when pro-government thugs attacked demonstrators."  I guess the bias in favor of US puppets in the Middle East became way too obvious so they sneakily edited the on-line version of the article.
