Walid Jumblat yesterday publicly asked the US to not interfere or even give advice to the Arab people. He said that we've seen your role in Tunisia and Egypt and that the US should let Arab chart their destiny. Of course, I never cared for the opportunist Jumblat but it is quite ironic that this man, who was quoted daily by US columnists and officials during the Bush years (Bush even cited him in his book, Decision Points), is now never mentioned after he switched to the other side.
