Jeffrey Feltman

I am really glad that Jeffrey Feltman (who had received his political training under Martin Indyk at the US embassy in Tel Aviv) is at the helm of Middle East foreign policy at the US Department of State.  The management of the crisis in Tunisia has been so bad and will have long term repercussions.  I could not have hoped for a more inept and incompetent diplomat who has managed to learn five Arabic words in his Arabic study in Jordan.  We can safely say that the US managed the crisis with the same skill exhibited by the House of Saud when they invited Bin Ali to stay in their kingdom.
