Haiti and Israel: the silly propaganda campaign

Yasser, a professor of medicine in Houston, Texas sent me this: (I cite with his permission):  "I saw your link on cuban doctors in Haiti.  the problem is not how the american media will twist it but how the american medical (supposedly scientific) establishment deals with it.  last march  the new england journal of medicine published the article below about the israeli hospital in haiti.  It was not a research article or of any scientific merit; it was a mere propaganda piece and a luxury (open access to the "most prestigious medical journal") which not even the american rescue teams got.  Of course the cubans will not get such attention.  if you remember, the israelis stayed there for 2 weeks and left but got all the possible propaganda in the US."
