Dilemma of a regime in danger

There is a dilemma for Mubarak: (just like it was for Bin `Ali): the more you give in, the more you are forced to give in.  The more you compromise, the more you will be forced to compromise and the weaker you are.  You can refuse to compromise and that will only make people angrier.
