Chirac and Saddam's money

In his book on his experience with the Iraqi Ba`th, former Saddam's ambassador to India, (the Lebanese) Jihad Karam describes how Iraqi intelligence funded the Congress Party in a key election in the late 1970s.  I am waiting for a book to detail the Iraqi Saddam cash payments to Chirac's campaigns especially that Saddam's former chief-of-protocol (search this site), detailed the valuable gifts that Saddam used to send to corrupt Chirac.  An American journalist has obtained information on Hariri funding for Chirac over the years, but the information is yet to be published alas (alas is a polite version of "damn it").
