Wall Street Journal reports on Lebanon

Read this Wall Street Journal report. It is quite obvious that it is all based on Hariri court media in Beirut.  Just as Hariri court media fed Western journalists "detailed" information about Syria's responsibility for the assassination of lousy Rafiq Hariri, Western media are now being fed the new official Hariri court narrative about Hizbullah's responsibility for the Hariri assassination.  I mean, Nicholad Blanford who has honed his credentials as automatic recepient of Hariri official spin and stories, and who wrote a whole book based on Hariri plot regarding Syria's responsibility for Hariri assassination, is now working on a second volume in which he repeats the new Hariri story regarding Hizbullah's responsibility.  This Wall Street Journal story is another example. It is full of errors and laughable lapses.  Look at this line:  "Members of Hezbollah's central committee didn't respond to requests for comment."  A good correspondent in China knows that Hizbullah does not have a "central committee."  Could the Wall Street Journal correspondent have confused Hizbullah with the Communist Party of the former USSR?  And then this is funny:  "In recent days, people who identified themselves as Hezbollah supporters in Beirut have attacked and injured U.N. staff working on the investigation into Rafik Hariri's death."  This of course is just made up.  I mean, just imagine a group of men beating up on UN staff (and this did not happen) and then yelling: by the way, we who are beating you up are from Hizbullah.  Write that down: He-z-boool--laaaah.  Did you write that down? We are officially beating u up on behalf of Hizboooolaaah's Central Committee.  (I think the correspondent is referring to the incident of the clinic, but the women there--not men--did not identify themselves as Hizbullah Central Commitee members.  Thirdly,  she quotes `Ammar Huri: ""The rise of sectarianism by the opposition worries us," says Ammar Houri, a parliamentarian from Saad Hariri's Future party. "It should worry everybody.""  That is what happens when you dont know Arabic.  Had she any knowledge of Arabic, she would have realized that Huri is one of the most blatant and vulgar of sectarian agitators and mobilizers in all of Lebanon.  He is the one who said that any criticisms of Sa`d Hariri are offensive to the entire Sunni community.  Fourthly, the entire article proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that the US is cooking the books over there in the Haige--and it won't be the first time of course.
