March 8 versus March 14

If you are watching Lebanese developments and keeping scores of the conflict, you have to say that March 8 has been unusually more adept as of late and more politically astute.  They have finally been able to put the March 14 camp on the defensive.  Having said that, the conflict between the two sides can only leave secular progressives outside both camp.  You can't join either and stay sane and true to your principles.  Of course, March 14's agenda is more sinister: it is the local version of Israeli-Saudi plans for the Middle East.
