crackdowns in Bahrain

Barely any coverage of the crackdowns in Bahrain against the opposition.  The government is getting away with wild stories of wild plots, just because it is nervous prior to parliamentary elections.  And the US would not want to disturb the government which has been appeasing Israel as of late--recent years.
