Ayman Al-Dhawahiri

His latest speech was addressed to the people of Turkey. The man who failed to capture the attention of Arabs in his native Arabic language now expects to reach Turks in Arabic. The speech was typically boring and it carried glowing praise for the Ottoman Empire (a trend in Islamists' discourse these days). But it referred to 5 centuries of Ottoman control of Arab lands. He was off by one century.
