You know about Lebanese geniuses and about Lebanese obsessions with rankings. This Lebanese dude, according to the Hariri rag, Al-Mustaqbal, is ranked "the number one scientist in the world." He is also ranked the number potato slicer in Asia. (thanks Bob).
