The French and the rest

A cab driver yesterday in Beirut insisted to me that the French are the worst people on earth. I tried to protest but he insisted: that the French are dirty and smelly and stingy. He said a French man or woman would only order a salad in a restaurant to save money. I said: but your contact with the French is very limited, he said that no, it is enough. He said Americans are much better. Oh, and he predicted to me the demise of Israel and the US in the future. I said: but I live in the US. He said: just stay out of the US in December. I said: but what year? He said: i don't know. I only know it will happen in December. I said: but on what basis do you get those dates? He said: by having a special relationship with God.
