Zionism and Dayr Yasin

Comrade Laleh sent me this footnote on Dayr Yasin: "In a Knesset debate in 1949, Yaakov Meridor, the Herut representative claimed that "thanks to Deir Yassin [Israel] won the war" (Segev, 1949: The First Israelis, 1986: 89). 1949 is a very important book for the understanding of Zionism in practice.
