Nazila Fathi

Bell Keller (editor of the New York Times) keeps throwing the name of Nazila Fathi, as a native Iranian covering Iran, as analogous to the Ethan Bronner's case. No, that is the wrong analogy. The analogy is this: would Nazila Fathi still be permitted to write for the Times (or even enter its building) if her son were to volunteer in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards? That is the apt analogy, Mr. Keller.
