Reckon

I had two issues of the Economist with me on the plane. I swear: in the first feature articles in both issues I encountered the inevitable "reckon". Also, the magazine is going a bit more right-wing in its coverage, especially in Middle East coverage. On Latin America, it has always been not good. And on Africa: well, you know. The British press sees Africa through the eyes of the white farmers in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Yet, it remains the best magazine there is.
