Ajami thinks that Israel goes too far for peace

"Israel has given up settlements before at the altar of peace..." I mean, does anybody take this man seriously? I can't even imagine that Likud's organization in the US taking him seriously. And why does his tone sound desperate as of late? As if he is seeking and craving relevance? (thanks FLC)
