Adonis Explains
The man who is willing to grovel and to humiliate himself further, and who would be willing soon to accept an award in Israel all in order to get the Nobel Prize in literature is at it again. He says (and I agree with him) that minarets are not part of the pillars of Islam. But then bizarrely adds: that the ban on minarets is not aimed at Islam itself but at architecture of minarets. Genius: those who sponsored and organized the ban on minarets were clear that they are hostile to Islam per se. They said so. So Adonis is saying that they are not hostile to Islam while they say they are hostile to Islam. You need a Nobel Prize in logic for that one, o Adonis, whose last good poem was more than 20 years ago. He then said: "Most Muslims abroad have nothing to do with the achievements of the mind." I mean, how can you argue with someone who writes like this. Imagine if those words were said about Jews, for example. Yet, those words will be translated and praised by Western media and Zionist propaganda outlets. (thanks Omar)
