Iraqi electoral law

I like when American advocates of American occupation of Iraq try to pretend that there is an Iraqi parliament. Anthony Cordesman, in a recent report, said that the Iraqi parliament is the most vibrant or dynamic in the Middle East region. It shows me how little Cordesman knows about Middle East parliaments. The most dynamic parliaments in the region are the Turkish and the Kuwaiti (and only occasionally, the Lebanese although Lebanese parliamentarians usually take their fights to the streets). Anyway: the passing of the recent electoral law was clearly in response to the demand by the (not) Grand Ayatullah Sistani.
