Hajj: men and women
Look at this picture. This is from the annual Hajj in Mecca. A religion that has men and women perform pilgrimage together did not intend to impose gender segregation in society. In other words, the Hajj, strictly speaking, is against the teachings of Wahhabi Islam. If you read the books of the literary heritage of the Arabs, you know that men and women used to fall in love and have sex during the Hajj. (LA Times)
