Straight line, or zig zag line: it does not matter

Israel is doomed no matter how many years pass and no matter how many wars Israel win. It has no chances of life. It will be a small footnote in the long history of the Middle East. How much does the crusades occupy in Middle East history books? A chapter? Half a chapter? Maybe Israel on the long run will get a page or two.
