Notions of race in the Lebanese Republic

A Lebanese student at the American University of Science and Technology (one of 46 private universities in Lebanon) sent me this (I cite with his permission): "Also, this is actually a personal one, straight from the land of the potato revolution, a Human Resources Management professor at my university who has most of her degrees from the US (home of the free, land of the brave) actually said to the class that white people are smarter than black people or minorities in the US, simply of because of their higher SAT scores, I argued "wtf are you serious?" and I pointed out that not only that it was racist but purely idiotic. This is how Lebs see the white man, smarter!"
