Lebanon on the Security Council

Lebanese media are going beserk. They are besides themselves with joy and pride. Lebanon now sits on the Security Council. They think that this is some international tribute to Lebanon for its skills in Hummus making and civil war. Libya was just sitting on that council, for potato's sake. Please don't flatter yourselves too much. I have never met a country and people who need more assurances--especially from the White Man--like this freak-homeland.
