Hamas may save Abu Mazen

Abu Mazen is clearly in deep trouble. This is the biggest story in Arab media and US media have not noticed it. The NYT may write a story days later. US media are always catching up. But I smell a rat in the room: The Egyptian government suddenly announced a date for a meeting between Hamas and Fath. Abu Mazen desperately needs Hamas now, and Hamas may come to the rescue in return for political perks. There is a chance to mount a serious challenge to the Fath leadership but Hamas is confined to improving its own status within existing conditions. Computer is slow and I got bored now.
