Tunisian repression
"Despite some important achievements in the field of women's rights, Tunisia has one of the Arab world's most repressive regimes. It generally escapes criticism by keeping out of international conflicts and dressing up its political system to look vaguely democratic." Well, we should add that Tunisian regime escapes criticism also by: 1) brutally torturing, oppressing, and killing fundamentalists of any kind; 2) offering intelligence and military services to Western governments; 3) show submissiveness to the US in foreign policy; 4) and the Tunisian dictator opens his arms to MNCs.
