Lebanese journalists in the service of House of Saud

Randa Taqiyy Ad-Din is a "writer" in the mouthpiece of Prince Khalid bin Sultan, Al-Hayat. She can't write and can't speak--I mean that literally, as Joe Biden would say. She is in theory a correspondent of Al-Hayat in Paris (in the Saudi-funded media, correspondents in Western capitals are expected to propagandize for the Western government that they cover, especially France and the US), but she has written a whole article about King Abdullah University For Science and Technology. My informants tell me that the project has been running into all sort of problems, and that they have a hard time recruiting qualified professors. But most importantly, the University has not even opened its doors but this has not stopped Taqiyy Ad-Din from writing a tribute to the university and comparing it to Bayt Al-Hikmah of the Abbassid fame. How low?
