Kuwaiti newspapers

Prior to Saddam's invasion of Kuwait, the Kuwaiti press (largely run and staffed by Palestinian leftists and Arab nationalists) was quite impressive and courageous. After 1991, the Kuwaiti press by and large has become an embarrassment. You can safely dismiss any story that is attributed to the main Kuwaiti newspapers: this is like attributing a story about Arab politics to...the Saudi sleaze website, Elaph. ELAPH, for potato's sake.
