The Fath Circus continues

The election to the Central Committee of Fath has been quite comical. In fact, there are increasing voices accusing the leadership of cooking the books, or whatever you say to indicate massive corruption. Ballot counting was done in total secrecy and in conditions that no one knew about: and Abu Mazen "dropped by" to check on the process, we are told. We don't have the official tallies yet but the names have leaked. Saudi-controlled media have hailed the rise of "new blood" in the new Central Committee. Who or what is the new blood? You guessed right: such corrupt (alleged) criminals as Muhammad Dahlan, Jibril Rajjub, and Sultan Abu Al-`Aynayn. (Yes, I know that Abu Al-`Aynayn did a great job in catching the killers of my aunt in Qana, South Lebanon a few years ago, but politics is unrelated to personal connections).
