An American Intervention in Iran? What American Intervention in Iran?

"US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Sunday that the United States did a lot "behind the scenes" to show support for demonstrators contesting Iran's disputed presidential election results." I wonder what the Rafsanjani groupies and CNN promoters in the US who have been insisting that the US is too innocent to ever intervene in other countries' affairs will say about this. They will probably claim that it is not true: that the US does not intervene in Iranian affairs at all and that CNN is a legitimate and humane "news" organization which care about oppressed people around the world. I have no problems with the Rafsanjani groupies in the US: just don't hide behind leftist slogans. They just don't apply.
