What the White Man Saw in Lebanon

Look at this story in the UAE's ruling dynasty's official newspaper. Prothero tells this story about "crowds" from Dahiyah (notice that residents of the southern suburbs are always referred to as "crowds" just as African Americans in the inner cities are always "gangs" and "mobs") at `Awn rallies. But while I am not in Lebanon, one wonders why no Arabic newspaper's correspondents (who are attending all rallies in large numbers) witnessed what this White Man has witnessed. This sounds like something coming out of the press office at Hariri family's headquarters. (thanks Raed)
