I am sorry that it did not work out

The Shi`ite hope of Prince Muqrin and US planners for the Middle East did not materialize. Apparently, Ahmad Al-As`ad (on whose shoulders Prince Muqrin put the task of undermining Hizbullah within the Shi`ite community of Lebanon) has called it quits. After a bad showing in which he was able to get some of the Christian votes in Marji`yun (and that is why he ran in that district because he knew it would be too embarrassing to run in an all-Shi`ite district but his Saudi sponsors really thought that he would be hailed by Shi`ites as their savior) but not much more. Suddenly he dissolved his minuscule his political party and took all supporters from the payroll. It is clear that Prince Muqrin was so pissed that he immediately ended the generous funding after the election results. (thanks Jamal)
