Armenians in Lebanon

The Lebanese sectarians (and that is both sides in Lebanon) never miss an opportunity to blame the "other": even if the other is a fellow Lebanese. The March 14 Christian sectarians (Phalanges, Lebanese Forces, and "independents") are already starting to voice their typical bigoted views against the Armenians in Lebanon, referring to them as "agents of Iran." In fact, many of them this week voiced their demand for isolating the Armenians and making them vote for only Armenian candidates. Nayla Tuwayni was on New TV yesterday and she was so ignorant and bigoted in her references to Armenians. But her granddaddy owns a newspaper and her other granddaddy is Michel Murr: so most Lebanese journalists find her racism cute and adorable.
