Hassan Hallaq
He is a historian at the Lebanese University and he supervised the PhD "dissertation" of the former chief of Syrian intelligence in Lebanon, Rustum Ghazalah, although no one remembers that Ghazalah ever attended any classes. This week, Hallaq (whose role in the supervision of the "dissertation" has been ignored in the Lebanese media because he is active with the Hariri entourage) is giving a talk about the "role of the Jews in overthrowing Sultan `Abdul-Hamid." I notice that anti-Jewishness in the Saudi and Hariri media is totally ignored by MEMRI.
