Ishbilya
It is official. Ishbilya is now my favorite Lebanese restaurant in London. Thanks to Hussein Agha who invited me there. And Hussein explained to me that Marroush (there are tons of them in London) are all supplied from one source and that their food is often frozen. This flies against Joseph Massad's theory that there is one really good Marroush (the one on Edgeware Road that is closest to Oxford Street), and I (not being such an expert on such matters) found myself agreeing with Joseph when we last ate there. And the Baklawa at Ishibilya are great. Really great.
